Everyone takes skill to use. Just because someone is great with one character does not make said character overpowered. For example, Meta Knight. Said to be the best, yet I dislike him much.

To repeat what I said in another topic, it takes skills to beat a skilled Marth player, he isn't overpowered, just speedy and good. My brother's Ike can sometimes defeat my Marth. |

Ike takes skill. I should know. When I first used him, I failed badly. I thought of him as too slow, with too slow smash attacks. I rely on smash attacks. |

I use Ike a lot. he's all about timing. since you cna charge smashes, you just wait for a character to dash at you. then WHAM!
He's actually pretty easy, and it's stupidly easy to win a fight spamming his B moves. |

True he has power, but he lacks speed in most of his moves. It does take a really skilled person to main him. |

Ike flows naturally for a lot of beginners. just like Melee's Marth Ike is Easy to use Difficult to master.
However he is closer to a heavyweight class, those who originally play him as a mid-weight or light class may have trouble using him at first.
otherwise there are always questionable tactics with any charecter, Spamming Ather on Wifi is notorious for "easy wins" ( bested only by Pikachu's Kill stealing KO-ing Thunder)
Spamming is spamming, spamming is predictable, and does not throw the games balance off kilter to the point it seems when people complain. |

Hey, you. I always countered all the bad talk on Ike too.
Anyway, personally I suck at telling if something is cheap because my tendence is striving to beat it, but in any way, anyone who finds Ike, Marth, Meta Knight or anything alike probably sucks so much at beating them with their mains that, for the sake of not burning their image, start calling them cheap.
Why don't you guys get training instead? I'm not gonna say any names, but you know who you are. So quit whining, will ya? |

anyways yeah what CFH said.
Or heres another idea, watch a CPU match, like, have 2 lv. 9 CPUs fight each other, in a normal stage. Final Destination or Battlefield works great.
I had a CPU Marth and a CPU Link fight each other a few times. Sometimes Marth would win sometimes Link would win. |

All the characters are balanced. It's just the unbalanced AI that makes people think otherwise. Some people can beat a level 9 Yoshi, but not a level 9 Marth or Wolf. So they go complain about them being cheap. |

Maybe skill, but remember, a lot of people on With Anyone play poorly, especially in lag. |
