I randomly found this while going back through SSE levels to get 100%.
"A type a creature that can absorb and learn skills and traits from other life-forms, adapting its shape as it does. This results in vast variations in appearance, behavior, and personality. Chao are generally very cute, and their mannerisms are pleasant and relaxing. Chao Gardens are a good place to find them, but they also inhabit areas with freshwater."
I'm not sure if they meant freshwater or if it was a typo. o.o
But besides that, either Nintendo or Sega really doesn't want to acknowledge the Dreamcast's existence. It says the Chao's first appearance was in Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. =/ |

Just in the Orange Cube I missed in The Ruined Zoo. It looked sorta like Chao, so when I finished the level I checked, and it was. |

I just got 'em from the Trophy Launcher. Has anyone else found that thing rigged for certain trophies? I keep failing on Paper Luigi and the dang Black Knight...
Anyway, the game's trying to list off appearances on Nintendo systems as best it can...and is apparently avoiding Sonic Adventure 2. Does Shadow's trophy mention SA2, or is it just SONIC HEROES? I know one description of Shadow is SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG, but the other I forget and am too lazy to look up...

Well, Luigi's Trophy has Mario Bros. and Luigi's Mansion.
Mario's trophy has Donkey Kong, and Super Mario Bros..
Wario's Trophy has Mario Land 2 and Wario Ware.
All of those have their first appearance, and one of their biggest roles.
And besides that, it only states Sonic Adventure DX as a role, when they appeared in Sonic Adventure 2/Battle, and the entire Sonic Advance series. |

Unless I'm mistaken, trophies that aren't playable characters only list the appearance which that trophy is based off of. The playable character ones list their first appearance, followed by the game this version of the character is based off of. For example, the Charizard trophy lists Pokemon Red / Blue and Pokemon Gold / Silver. |
