Alright, I am probably the WORST person ever at fighting bosses in Brawl. I absolutely HATE the stamina, and even when I air dodge, I often fail to avoid the attack.
By some miricle, I've been able to beat Boss Battle mode from easy to very hard mode. However, I always fail on the second challenger in Intense. So please...can anyone help me out? Suggest a character, some strategy. Especially on Duon and Galleom, those two are EVIL.
So, thank you for the help in advance. |

I've found that I've had the most success with Lucas and Wolf...mostly Lucas.
Here's a general rule of thumb with Lucas: PK Freeze is your best friend. Great damage, great range, large area of effect. Don't be afraid to abuse it. With that said, it leaves you vulnerable for a brief period of time, so don't use it unless you're out of range or you're certain the boss won't be attacking.
As for strategies for specific bosses...well, all I can say is that you need to learn their patterns. For Galleom, though, standard rolls are much more effective that airdodges for avoiding his attacks.
Duon, I have a crapload of trouble with too...I can beat him, but not without sustaining a bunch of damage...>.< |

Charizard's side B, Kirby's side B in mid-air, Meta knight's neutral air, the list goes on. |

Galleom and Duon are pretty vulnerable to Ness' PK Fire spam. |

use anyone with GOOD reflecting moves, Fox/Wolf's down B works wonder, as well as Pit's down B. Its good for reflecting Duon's missles and lasers. You can always abuse Fox's blaster at Duon and when he's coming to charge at you, roll dodge or air dodge at the right time. As for Galleom, I find him easy. When he's doing that stomp, just roll dodge. And stay away from him and abuse long range attacks. |

I use Lucario, since his power grows with damage it makes the later bosses in Boss Battles a lot easier. |

Pit's mirror shield is good, but afew of the stronger attacks pierce it. And by that, I mean Porky's doom ray, which makes me mad, as it's the hardest move to dodge in boss battles. >.> |

ARG! After hours of trying, my best record on Intense is 5 with Wolf. So thanks for that, ? Block. |

Oh, and one more thing:
Remember, Lucas and Ness's down-B absorbs attacks instead of reflecting them. As in, it heals your health...that's been a life-saver for me in a number of situations. |
