I think you just fall asleep and never wake up.
I've OD'd on sleeping pills and needed to be fed a liter of activated charcoal in order to not die. @_@;

You're in pain for a while, your vision starts getting fuzzy. Soon, your pain dies away, and the brain releases "pleasure chemicals" to help you cope with death as you go to sleep. Then, you either wake up in heaven or hell, get reincarnated, or get blinked out of existance.

It's quite hard for me to imagine the process of dying, because if we died, we won't tell anyone how it felt to die. In my opinion one would lose their senses one by one. It happens in moments, your sight is gone and you can't hear. Then lose the ability to talk and they will only know what is inside of their head, and nothing around, near, or anything in the world. The body become numb and the sense of touch is lost, so we would pretty much feel like an "object". The final part of death, is where our brain and heart stop functioning and we end there. |

You first lose feeling of that area that it affected (example-lungs by drowning. chest by being hit by a car). then your hearing imediatly drops. Your can only hear noises that are really loud, and even then there quiet. Your eyes shut and you can't stop them-Your body is it total shock and can't move or feel. once they shut, the heart cuts off. then the brain does.
All happens in about 3.5 seconds from the first stage (meaning once they lose a bit of feeling) |
