If the poll indicates that more of you like my idea than hate it or at least 10 people reply to this saying they like the idea, I'll carry it out.

Short Version:
It would be like the Glitz Pit with the following things.

1. The fights would use the Mario D20 rules.
2. The fighters would gain experience points and level up.
3. All you have to pay to participate is a one time fee of 10 coins, and that's it.
4. Get tokens for winning matches and are able to use these tokens for buying equipment for your fighter or just trade them for coins.
5. It would have a SSB theme to it.

Long Version:
I will start a new topic in the RP forum titled "Super Smash Bros. (Digibutter Branch)". Like the Glitz Pit, you'll be able to register matches and such and fight. Unlike the Glitz Pit however, the battles will be based on the rules of Mario D20. For those of you who don't know the rules of Mario D20, CLICK HERE. Since there are things that are left out of the rules there (because they had to leave out all of the stuff from D&D that hadn't been changed), I've decided to handle most of the stuff relating to character creation and managing level ups (people who ask can handle those things themselves if they want, or they can ask me to guide their character towards getting certain classes or abilities). Those of you who have no idea of how a D20 game is played, CLICK HERE, but remember that there will be a few differences between different D20 games (which I will be willing to clear up for anyone that asks).

Since it will use rules for combat, it will be easier to see who won. The participation of a judge would only be needed to make sure that the rules are being followed and to clear up any misinterpretation of those rules. It will also make it harder to god mode.

What's that? What's in it for you? Uh... what about having fun, and getting to try a different kind of RPing? That's not enough? Well you're all rather selfish... What if I make it possible to earn something? I could have it so that each time you win a match, you would get a certain amount of tokens that I'll keep a running total of. You'll be able to give up 10 tokens to get 1 coin from me. I'll even make registering for a match be free. That's right, you'll be able to register a match for free, and if you win, you'll earn tokens that can be exchanged for coins. Of course, I'll need a way to ensure that I won't go broke, so I'll require a one-time fee of 10 coins for each new participant. I'll also allow the tokens to be used for buying items/weapons/armor that will be able to be used in the fights (they'll be recorded along with the running total of tokens). I'll also allow tokens to be bought for 1 coin each. So you can participate purely for fun and use tokens earned to buy stuff to make your fighter stronger, or participate purely to try to take my money away from me (but your fighter wouldn't get cool stuff as easily). And another thing, the number of tokens that you would get for winning a match will depend on the rank of the opponent, so beating a tougher opponent would get you more tokens.

If it all works out alright and I get enough participants, I may try to handle multiple fights in different battle fields that would each have their own qualities that would make them special (just like the different places fought in while playing a SSB game). I'll even think about allowing purely for-fun fights between fighters that are nowhere near each other in rank.

So... What does everyone think about my idea? Don't be afraid to ask questions either.

OK, since you think it's too long, how about a condensed version? *inserts a shortened version into the original post of the topic*
