I recently read some really interesting things regarding the American Virtual Console! This coming Monday, before there was Genesis, there was the Sega Master System! This was Sega's answer to the Nintendo Entertainment System. The first game from that system to hit the VC will be Wonder Boy. That's right, the game what eventually became Hudson's Adventure Island for the NES. How much will the SMS games be on the Wii Shop Channel? Only a small paltry sum of 400 Wii Points, 100 points less than the price of NES Games. Not to be left out, Wonder Boy's gonna be joined by Cruis'n USA, for the N64.

Amazed or not, it's gonna be a long time before Nintendo and Phillips decide to have the CDi games released on VC, in a way that would save space.

WHAT FOUR HUNDRED

THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! THERE'S NO WAY IT CAN BE THAT LOW! *Shot*

Ahaha. Sounds interesting. I've been waiting to see what system's coming out next on the VC, and, as I expected, it's one I've never heard of. :D

If its a system I can emulate, I'm not buying any games for it off the VC...

You should. It also includes Sega Game Gear games, too! And other SMS titles include:

Fantasy Zone
Space Harrier
Wonder Boy In Monster Land
Outrun
Alex Kidd in Miracle World
and more...

The reason a lot of people haven't heard of it is because it sucks. Save your money.

That may be true, but it had the Origin of the Phantasy Star series - Phantasy Star 1, where you had to explore Dungeons in a First Person perspective.

I'll buy Wonder Boy, anyway, because it's cheaper than Adventure Island, which is 100 Points more expensive (500 Point Value).

Because it wouldn't make sense to just buy the lighter amount of Wii Points on a card. Plus, If there were 500 Point cards, selling alongside the 2000 Point Cards in America, the 500 Point Cards will end up in the Outlet Store VERY quickly, unless they are low on cash!
