Sonic has been deeply held in my heart thanks to my step-father, but after playing the games past Sonic Adventure 2, which I played while living in San Francisco, I never could be ensured about the quality of Sonic. Sega, please don't let this hedgehog named Sandslash down!
Well, you might wanna see this. It's a cinematic teaser, where at one moment, you see Sonic's hand tossing a ring, and the next, you see his monstrous hand slam it.
Maybe you'd rather have MegaMan transform into a Beast-like version of himself! Oh, wait. It's been done before, in MegaMan Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar, and Cybeast Falzar!
Offhand, I'd say that since Dr. Eggman was able to defeat Super Sonic, he must've done some form of an experiment on Sonic, vaguely similar to Baron Praxis pumping Jak with Dark Eco, and gave Sonic the transformation powers he has, turning him into a twisted monster! Just don't expect Sonic to end up with an Anger problem, like Jak in Jak II, who said his first words in that game:
From what I've seen in the trailer I watched, it looks like it'll actually be pretty good! Most Sonic games suck nowadays (except Sonic and the Secret Rings..........what??? I liked that game!). I hope this game lives up to the hype. Only way to find out is to wait for the reviews.
