It is boring and very mediocre. Everything is in space, it's always *crag* SPACE! They abuse space more than Sunshine abused tropics. And there isn't even anything new in this, and hardly anything to do in the main hub. It's pathetic. I list the Marios order.
1.Mario 64
2.Mario Sunshine
3.Mario Galaxy

Although I like Sunshine a lot, and the amount between them are almost unnoticeable. :< |

It doesn't matter what comes after, there will never be a better game than those three. Therefore, those who grew up on the SNES were spoiled, and are the true heroes of gaming.
Also, am I the only one who thinks that the only reason Sunshine "sucked" was because it was Mario? Like, if we replaced Mario with Donkey Kong and added more barrels and made King K. Rool the main villan, it would've been beter recepted critically, just because the only comparrison that could be made was to the absolutely insane DK64?
Super Mario Galaxy...I just enjoy leaving it on and listening to the music. Like Super Mario 64. |

Super Mario Galaxy's first play is fun.
... and yeah, that's it. Not much to do after that.
I miss the hub-style areas :C It was fun just wandering about Gelato Beach in sunshine, or just flying around in Super Mario 64. |

And do random stuff in Pinna Park, go at the top of Noki bay and fall off the cliff and climb again. T'was also very fun at Bianco Hills.
But for some reason, I only enjoy playing sunshine during Summer.
And Galaxy, it had perfect soundtrack, but it was linear, and too short. SM64 was also perfect. |

o____O; I do the same thing. x___x; With all different games.
I feel funny playing a Harvest Moon file in the middle of winter in the summer, and vice versa. o_O
I usually don't like to play Wind Waker in any season BUT winter (sense making, plx? @_@)
I prefer "serious" games over "kiddie" ones in the spring, and vice versa in fall.
I think SMG is going to end up being a "winter game."
