The 3rd-party developers need to quit kissing Nintendo's multi-million-dollar buttocks and start putting in some more characters in spin-offs. I mean, There are awesome characters out there like Dimentio and X-naut, but you can bet your bottom buck that they're only going to allow "main-stream characters" like Yoshi and Luigi. Anyone agree?

Never. Why should some s****y characters (Not including X-nauts) get a decent role? They suck! Count Bleck and his little thugs (Not counting Mimi) for all we know will never be seen ever again, nor will Flipside.

S****y? Excuse me, but pretty much all the Paper Mario characters (especially Bleck and his minions) are awesome! Sure, some, like Smorg, aren't all that great, but others like Bleck, Shadow Queen, etc. rock hard!

But I'm not sure if it's the best idea for them to be in spin-offs. For SSBB, it's a great idea, but as for the other spinoffs, I'm just not sure it'd work out.

Dementio + Tennis? Francis + Basketball? Frack, Wrack, Hook, Gloom, or Bonetail, along with Bonechill and Super Dementio in ANY sport? I'm sorry, but I just don't see that working. And Nintendo needs less characters in spin-offs. Blooper, Wiggler, etc. in spin-offs were just terrible ideas.
