There really isn't a 'set' Satanism philosophy or religion; based on the many differing Satanists I've talked to, the word "Satanism" can mean anything from true devil-worshipping, to the atheist "self-indulgence" philosophy, to the use of creatures from H.P. Lovecraft's fictional Cthulhu Mythos as deities. From what it seems, the "Satanism" moniker is just a name used to imply "rebellion and anarchy".
Anyway, in my own opinion, I do think that "Satanism" is silly. |
