I beat Yagami on Final Destination with no items on. He used Falco.
That was so stereoytypical it was kinda sad.
I used Wario. Eat it tier players. Eat it.
Good match though, gotta say. |

Yeah I know. But Falco is on the top tier in Melee and his moves have barley changed. Not to mention Land Master is one of the best FS.
It will probably be the same.
I mostly made this topic because people who plays Final Destination without at least Smash Ball piss me off.
I prefer Smash Ball on random map, Assist Trophies if there are 3 or more players. Then no one can *crag* argue when they lose.

I don't think Wario will be high tier, due to the fact that almost all of his attacks are based upon circumstance.
That being said though, he could have one, it was close. I guess. I got a lot more damage on him though before I got to my last stock so it was basically over from that point on.
Also MY WHOLE *crag* POINT IS THAT IT IS ABOUT SKILL AND NOT *crag* CHARACTER |

I know. Tiers were made on teh assumption that 2 peopel facing each other are the exact same skill level, which is next to impossible to begin with, unless they've both spent roughly 5 years training and have mastered the game to the point of having their sanity questioned and there's nothing more they can learn. |

Well, I have to agree that Final Destination is a really boring stage. And that Smash Balls are the items that should be on even when it comes to no-item whores (Opposite pole to item whores; people that brag because they can play without items) because Final Smashes are just like powerful attacks that need a lot of chargeup to unleash. |

Smash Balls can make matches have unexpected turn of events.
And unexpected stuff = against tourney rules.
I tells you. For a tourney-elitist, all have to be perfectly expected or else they screw up.
Anyways, Final Destination is overused online. They should have at least made it unlockable. |

Tripping is unexpected.
No characters can now move.
Sorry, but now tournaments are just Snake VS Snake in competitions of "who can actually score a hit with their guided missiles instead of just countering each other?".
Really, Brawl did an awesome job of evening out nearly all of the characters. I just have to applaud it for that, well done. |

Tripping also occurs when using Side B's.
Tripping is indeed unexpected and a good solution to decrease elitism.
But tourney-elitists will still reduce the unexpected-risk level to the minimum.
Items where banned because you can't expect when they will appear.
