Everyone starts out with 10 cookies. You can give them to someone as a post reward. You lose a cookie, and they gain one. Once someone reaches 50 cookies, they cannot gain any more.

Good idea? y/n?

But then, if you remove the limit, and people give away all of their cookies in one day, it would make people think a little more carefully if the cookies would be of use in the future. :0

Cookies can be used for good or evil.

If everyone else rewarded GOOD POSTS, this wouldnt be a problem. All those time you posted "agreed" or "epic" or "good idea", or even silently thought to yourself "that post inspired me" you probably should have given a cookie... but you didn't. You only have yourselves to blame.

Cookies are like The Force, except tasty.

Again, I'm behind on the times. QFT?

Second, this is a bad idea. I suggest cookies are only availible in the following areas:

Your Creations
General Discussion
Feedback
Introductions
Announcements
Hi-Technical Support
Gaming News and Reviews
Digital Butterflies
Black Market

This would not only keep the cookies, it would put them to good use, rather than being used on a spam only basis. In addition, it might bring certain areas of the forum back to life...

Intros is for introductions. Not many intros can really be deemed more than "Epic".

Francis is the only one who makes the REAL quality posts in announcements. Suck-ups galore, less for the rest of us.

Black Market is for offering/requesting services. that are usually paid for in coins, not post quality. If someone makes something THAT amazing, it should go in YC.

The only downside would be things like the Franismaster, where everybody spams cookies because it was frontpaged/they laughed.
