I'm leaving for my college visit VERY soon, and I'm thinking about taking a few animations on my laptop to show. The only problem is that a lot are Flash, but the ONLY Flash Player I can find is for internet browsers. I want a standalone one that can be accessed while not online!
Please, I need answers ASAP! I'm leaving in less than 30 minutes!! |

Flash itself ? It is a flash player, integrated into itself ... Just press STRG and Enter.
Sorry, not helpful, or ? |

Hmm... You can open an swf in a web browser, but it sometimes shows what is outside of the stage. You can use some HTML to fix the problem, but this is kinda advanced. Here is the code I use on my site:
Code: | <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000"
codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#ver
sion=8,0,0,0" width="550" height="400" id="debug" align="middle"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <param name="movie" value="FLASHNAME.swf" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param
name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><embed src="FLASHNAME.swf" quality="high"
bgcolor="#ffffff" width="550" height="400" name="debug" align="middle"
allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /> </object> |
You can just make a notepad document and call it "flash.html" (make sure you save it as an HTML).
You could also probably copy the player from your program files, the filepath is "C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash 8". You just copy that folder onto your laptop.
Let me know if you have any problems... |

Well, I assume that you made the Flash Animations yourself. Just load them and use Flash 8 or whatever you use to play them >.>
STRG + ENTER displays the Flash file in an independent player. |

STRG + ENTER displays the Flash file in an independent player. | Are you using a Mac? On windows its CTRL + ENTER... | Well, I don't have the actual Flash program on my laptop, so Ctrl + Enter won't work. That's why I just want one that doesn't require a browser/Flash (program). I just want the player.
Oh, and there's no program file for Macromedia OR Adobe Flash Player, even though I supposedly installed it. |

No problem, although I must 'warn' you, it shows a small bit of the flash outside the border, if that makes sense. Although you can fix this by resizing the window of the player itself. |
