There is probably a ton of stuff you aren't factoring in. Also, what keeps you from doing something crazy extravagant?
$15,000 is EASY. (numbers assume 250 invited, 200 show)
Reception - $9000 sitefee, food, alchohol, tax, gratuity, cake fee, cake, dj, favors
Honeymoon - $5000 - $10000 depending on location wedding night hotel, flight, private villa, food, excursions, souvineers
Rings - $500 - $2000 (depends on quality)
Ceremony in city church- $2000 church, organist, other musicians, minister, coordinator
Invitations - $250 ($1 per guest)
Flowers - $2000
Dress & Stuff - $1000 dress, viel, garders, shoes, hair & makeup
Photography- $2000
Pre-Wedding Food/Events - $2000 luncheon, rehersal, tax, gratuity, wedding party gifts
Transportation to/from reception in nice car - $200
Thats like $25,000 right there, for not even a super-huge wedding |

The budget, obviously. Since most of the expensive stuff came first on the list, M'aiq picked out all the cheaper stuff, like a reception hall for $400, and a church for 150 people for about $350. When you don't know jack shit about any of this stuff, you just try and get it over and done with, and M'aiq didn't realize he had chewed through the list as fast, and cheap, ad he did. |
