Not supported... It'd really cause more problems than it solved, and like Tayl said, you lose the fun of mingling plots.

And as for an RP forum JUST for canon characters, I don't support at all. A lot of great RP has come from the interaction between OCs and canons.

I still don't think there's anything wrong with the current setup. But that could just be me. .-.

But you're an Avid RPOT visitor. The main issue with RPOT is that it's impenetrable. I left for a week, AND WHEN I GOT BACK, I HAD TO QUIT RPOT BECAUSE I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING THAT WAS GOING ON. If I've had any effect on RPOT within the past 3 months, it's because Msdevin remembered to use that sword. (>_>)
You act like there's actually a consistent canon in RPOT. There isn't.

There's enough of one.

Not really... Besides, if you get confused, all you have to do is ask what's going on.

So far the only opposing the change are the same cavalcade of RPOT regulars.

Don't really know where the arguement has headed now, but I still want a place for real role-playing. Quality role-playing that only allows 100% original characters, with a strict character acceptance policy. I want a place where originality and creativity are key- a place where quality literature and writing can arise from RPing, instead of the same tired conflicts over and over again. A place where posts consist of two or more paragraphs. Like other sites with RP forums.

RPOT is Role-Playing lite. It nor RP are true RPing forums, and my suggestion would fix the problem. You have a flexible, low-quality RP forum, and a strict, high-quality forum.
