Changing your username is a big deal. People associate a lot of things with your name, and once you change it, they may feel that you are not the same person. People will not recognize your posts, you may lose reputation, your friends may stop talking to you, and so on. Also, it is possible that a new or existing member could take your old name!

Please think long and hard about changing your name. If you still want to, read the instructions below:

Username Change Request

To change your real username (the one you use to login as), you must meet the following requirements:

If the name is just a slight modification to your current name:
1. Just make a new topic in this forum requesting the change and it will be granted soon if approved.

If it is a new name:

1. Make a topic in this Request Forum stating why you want to change your name.
   
2. Use a Name-Tag with your desired name for at least two weeks.
   
3. After two weeks, reply to your topic if you still want the name change or not.
   
4. Pay 50 coins to Francis.
   
5. Enjoy your new identity.
