The Playstation Store really ramped up this year, adding a Video Store, Home, and downloadable disc-games like Burnout Paradise. Here are the nominations for best PS3 game only available via the Playstation Store:
WipEout HD - a high-definition remake of past elements from the Wipeout series, an intense futuristic racing game with weapons.
Mega Man 9 - the first Mega Man game since 1996. Old-school platformer graphics and gameplay.
Echochrome - a game where a mannequin figure traverses a rotatable world where physics and reality depend on perspective, inspired by M.C. Escher's artwork.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix - The original fighting game with high-resolution artwork and both classic and "remixed" gameplay.
The Last Guy - A puzzle-action game where you must herd civilians away from monsters in real-world cities. |
