It has been a huge year for the Playstation 3. Blu-Ray finally won the battle against HD-DVD, and many highly-anticipated games were released. The nom-nom-nominations for best Playstation 3 game are:
LittleBigPlanet - a physics-based multiplayer platformer featuring deep customization features and expansive user-created levels and content.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - a third person stealth action game acclaimed for it's balance of gameplay and storytelling.
Soulcalibur IV - the latest Soulcalibur fighting game now with new features like character creation and online battles.
Burnout Paradise - open-world racing game with seamless online play. It is known for being constantly updated throughout the year with free content like new game modes, vehicle types, and city areas.
Dead Space - third-person survival horror-action game praised for it's polished technical qualities and it's friggin scary atmosphere.
Guitar Hero : World Tour - the guitar music game now with drums and microphone for a full band. Also features a song creation feature.
Grand Theft Auto IV - next-gen sandbox game with a deep story and online modes. |
