As you all have noticed, I have not been able to be very active on the site for a while now. I have had lots of real-life issues to deal with, and sadly my real-life job takes priority over doing cool stuff for digibutter.
Things are starting to settle down now though, and I hope to be back in full form soon. I plan to start working on "NERR 1.5" which will replace our current phpbb forum software. The new system should making posting faster, easier, more customizable, and easier to moderate.
In the mean time, we will still hobble along on our current system as it is. I know the current strike system is kinda broken, but it's all I got for right now. Moderators were recently given a Restriction-Ray, which gives them ability to put a member on restriction. Restricted users can still post, but they can't do hardly anything else. For example, they can't send PMs or use items. This is a good option in-between Jailing and just giving a strike.
There is has been much clamoring from everyone, including the mods, for a second administrator. While I do not agree that another administrator is needed, I am willing to give it a try. But, I do not know who is worthy to be an admin. (There used to be admin, but that is a long story, and he will not be returning). Instead of doing the long complicated voting like we did for President, I have decided to make it quick and simple. Later today, everyone will become an Administrator and we will find out who best can handle the pressure and responsibility of the orange name. May the best admin win! |

Btw we need a second administrar whether Francis likes it or not.
And by that i mean PICK ME!
Or change the whole thing and get rid of the admin stuff. And have Moderator and Super Moderator.
Oh well...It's not my choice. I would like a second admin though. |
