I always have a problem choosing which class to play.

I really liked Shaman and Druid, but I don't know if those would be helpful in a group.

Also I'll probably play Troll, though I may roll a Tauren, because as I said, Druid.

So?

No class is not helpful in a group.

And, as you hit high-level, you'll realize that how you're spec'd matters more than anything. Luckily, hybrid classes like Druid or Shaman can function in a variety of roles- depending on their gear and specs, of course.

I'm technically a n00b, but I read a lot into higher level content and the like.

But I'm not as much concerned with the ability to assist as much as I am with the play style.

My problem with MMOs is that I can just never seem to find a class I really enjoy playing.
