Okay, first off, I have one common misconception with my campaign:

I am not running for myself, personal gain, to feel important, or any of that. I am running because I have wanted to help Digibutter for the longest time, and I feel that this would finally be my opportunity to help the site short of demanding modship or something.

Now since that point is clear, I'll get onto the current issues of the day.

Member Inactivity: If you've been here in the past few months, you would notice that activity is centered on the Off-Topic forums, with a decrease everywhere else. Even then, both OT forums aren't very active themselves these days. I have ideas to increase activity in these forums and all others, such as an annual Game-Of-The-Now vote in GN&R every so often, inactive forum deletion and combining, for forums such as Star Carnival and Miyamojo. I would also like to put in an advertising campaign on other sites, but that will be discussed at a later date. For those who are into role-playing and parties, I'll do my best to guarantee more site-wide events that "break the fourth wall", such as the Divo event, but I'll also ensure that there's a place for people to go if you don't feel like participating (having Francis make a direct backup of the site?)

Items and the Economy: As been said several times before, the economy is essentially dead. My plan to revive the economy is to have more item creation contests, submit general ideas to Francis that the community comes up with (anyone remember Coin-Armor?), and possibly a lottery of some sort and "casino-games" in the arcade, that let you bet a number of coins and gamble with those. This would not only help the economy, but also increase use for the Arcade. I plan to increase the amount of coins that the overall user can earn, but I would also like to put constraints on certain things so that the economy is constantly changing. Perhaps a new currency for a special shop? More features for user-created items? The possibilities are endless.

Fees and Punishment: It's no secret that the punishment system is utterly flawed. I'd like to input a system wherein there ARE fees, but there are many limits and constraints to the amount of coins you have to pay for a fee, the amount of times you can actually pay a fee instead of getting a strike, and the like. Jail sentence increase is a must of course; at this point in the life span of Digibutter, jail is nothing major to the accustomed rulebreaker. I plan to increase jail sentences much longer for those who truly deserve to be in jail, perhaps two types of strikes, major or minor, depending on the severity of the offense. Court would also be fixed, and mods would have an option to give people no trial at all if the offense is that severe, or to prolong their trial for a later date.

Community Involvement: You might think I'm not going to listen to anyone in my campaign, but that's untrue; I love the community, I want it to flourish into an even more widespread one, where all can have a good time regardless of grammar, views, or text color. If you give me your undying support, I promise you, I will push for more community-oriented suggestions. Just say the word, and I'll listen, and talk to Francis and the moderation staff for a good long while, regardless of who you are or how long you've been here. I may even push for more community staff, such as Orchid running the YCoTW or Vid being the digi-historian. Just say the word and I'll listen.

I supported you from the beginning, and I still am. Deleting Star Carnival sounds like a good idea, since it's even more dead than Miyamojo... What about a revamp for it, however?
