I would say "Not as much", mainly because in WoW, you actually get these things called 'quests', and there are more than 7 of them for every 5 levels.
If you went through Azeroth doing nothing but killing and ignoring quests altogether, then yeah, it would be a bit like MapleStory, although the speed of your EXP bar filling slows down slower, if that made sense.
When it comes down to it, WoW is a grindfest, but it's hard to notice sometimes because they make it so darn entertaining that you don't really care sometimes.
If you're skeptical about it, you may want to download the 10-day trial. It may get a bit dull in the first 10 levels, because the interesting stuff doesn't really begin until you leave your homeland and begin exploring the villages and all that.
In my personal opinion, though, WoW is better than MS. |
