In the rules section, there's one very troubling problem: difference in perception. What one sees as flame may not be seen as flame to the wide majority. While we can agree on most cases, the definitions in the rules are somewhat vague. To amend this, I propose that we redefine the definitions in the rules under a new section: The Glossary. This will have detailed definitions of terms such as "trolling" and "flame", and provide real examples found throughout Digi or the Internet.

Second of all, the Necropost warning. The warning appears one month after the previous post, whereas after the first week of inactivity, a Necropost strike is given.

Third of all, I propose that while signing up, we have members read the rules, and have a quiz on it. This filters out any who wish to just join without regard for the rules, and requires members to have knowledge of the rules while joining the forum.

Edit: Fourth, charges. With the recent case of FT being charged in court twice under the charge of spam twice, I propose this. Mods should be given the power to enable a "chain-strike". This allows them to flag various posts, and strike it under one charge. The fee given to the defendant will be calculated as follows. :
10+((charges-1)*5).

Clarification: This means that you would be striked under that charge not once, but as many times as linked. As well, in your court topic, there will be the evidence from all the posts that were chain-striked. This means that if you have larger chain-strikes, odds are going to be against you.

This means, that if I were striked three times in a thread, I'd have to pay 20 coins as punishment.

Fifth: Mod tempbans - No, this doesn't mean that all the mods get tempbans. What I mean, is that a mod can opt to give members tempbans via a vote. If the majority wins, then that person would be banned for a undetermined period of time, as of now. The tempban would also have to require a valid enough reason. The only flaw with this is that the mods could pretty much ban anyone they dislike. Thus, it should be required that the ban either be passed through Francis, or the President. The President is offered as an alternative, because Francis does not come on very often, which is a disappointment. Idea originally thought up by Frozen, and I kinda thought about it too.

Sixth - Bring back the Dump - Honestly, the events of 12/30/08 were one of the best days I was on Digi, and I hear that's what the Dump was like. I say we bring back the Dump, which would be something like a unique usergroup, you can only gain access to it, or see it for that matter, if you are a member of said group. There will be guidelines, but they will probably be a lot more lax in the Dump, but rules like no pornography would still apply, and so on and so forth.

Seventh - Award more for the Arcade games, as well as update them. Really, the Arcade pretty much gets little to no views, and those are few and far between. As well, who really wants to play the same, old game, over and over again, trying to get the highest score? Not me, that's who. That's why, we ought to hold monthly Arcade tournaments, where one Flash game is used for it, and the highest scorer will get something unique. And in order to prevent the same people from winning over and over again, there will be a maximum number of tournaments you can participate in, and win. You still can participate in them, just that if you have that many trophies from victories, then your score will appear on an "unranked" scoreboard.

Eighth - Give mods the right to edit the home page. First of all, Frozen has stated that it's particularly troublesome, since it's impossible to add the Your Creation of the Week. So, I propose that mods be given the right to edit the homepage. I mean, it only makes sense, since Francis doesn't come on much.

Any critiques? And really, I think this thread needs more critiques. These ideas won't be good unless they're criticized, you know. And you can submit your own ideas, too. This is a proposition thread, nothing more, nothing less. Just PM me your ideas, and I'll post em here with full credit to you, alongside some possible changes to make it more...balanced, and maybe add a precaution or two here and there.
