Yeah, that pretty much sums up the entire Nintendo fandom.

Or "Fan Dumb" as some people in the TV Tropes community call it.

(TV Tropes is a website that catalogs various techniques and plot devices used in fiction. Careful though, the site is very addicting and you probably shouldn't visit it if you have anything you need to get done in the next few hours.)

It's closer to unpleasable fanbase than fan dumb.

No not really. We wouldn't complain at all, because now nintendo thought of something new and original.

Super Mario Bros. 2, anyone?

That was SMB on hard mode.

No, I wasn't talking about The Lost Levels, I was talking about Super Mario USA, the one that was cloned from Doki Doki Panic.

I recon it should be good, especially if you completed the original.

Oh god I now how to buy it when ever it comes out and spend several hours to beat it just to say I did. I liked the first one it just got boring trying to get all the stars and when I did and unlocked Luigi I just got bored of Luigi and stoped playing.

The original SMG was amazing. I mean, really amazing. It brought me back to the days of SM64. Then to top it off, it's graphics were wonderful. It was just perfect.

Well maybe not completely perfect. No many how many times I completed the game fully, or went to replay the old levels, I always felt like it wasn't enough. I don't know if it was just me, but frankly, yeah. But then they announced this game.

I don't care if it's basically an expansion of the game, or if it's a new story of Mario's wonderful adventures in space. May they remove some things and put in new content, it doesn't bug me either. All I think that matters; to me at least; is that there's more. I'll gladly be picking this game up when it comes out, because as I said earlier, Galaxy needed more, and this is the answer to that.

....Ugh, I really don't see this being a compelling game...

...SMG was only a few steps above mediocrity for me, and I doubt this sequel will come anywhere close to SM64...

...SMG had the "flair" graphically, but nothing I found to be truly magical...
...The gameplay was exceeding mediocre as well...

I don't see why people aren't giving the game hell as to why it'll suck or not, and to as why it's an expansion pack. It's one of the few games from the Mario franchise that has a true sequel. I saw a lot of shit that was from the old Mario games brought into this one, like the saws. I don't see why people are pissed and shit. It looks fun as hell. And lets just hope the final boss isn't gay.

I think the main reason some people bash it is because it doesn't really add anything besides new levels and Yoshi (which will essentially be used only in a few levels as surrogate powerups) while the major Mario games before it has something innovative each time.(Not counting SMB2J)
