Awesome nerr feature!

Every topic and post has its own "quality" score. If a post is good, then click "[good post]" link. If it is a bad post, then click "[bad post]". Simple enough eh? If it is just a normal post, then do not mark it as anything.

Good posts: ones that provide good information, or a good joke, or something like that that EVERYONE would WANT to see.

Bad posts: ones that are spam, or contain no information, or are annoying. Posts that NO-ONE would want to see.

Hopefully with this system I can more easily punish those who are bad, and reward those who are good. Post-points do not automatically get you anything, but I may reward coins or something in the future.

I'm not a big fan of the post points thing. It usually gets abused and a lot of people nag about their post points being too low or something. An old forum I went to had that post point stuff. It was easily abused because people just kept hitting "bad posts" on each other.

This is an okay feature... but I do agree with Crazy Cody. Some people might just hit "bad post" on the posts of people they just downright don't like. An example would be the villains always hitting "Bad Post" for Super Mario's posts just because we find him annoying. You can never tell if anyone has any INITIATIVE behind rating posts. The same thing could go for topics.

And that's my spiel on post ratings... >_>
