[Paper Luigi]

Bowser's eyes widened as he saw the black plauge raced for the castle, everyone that touched it turning into undead minions. Bowser pulled out his walkie talkie. "KAMEK! Get the koopa cruiser here STAT!", within seconds, it was there, right in the sky. "FIRE!", Bowser yelled. The spiked ball headed straight for Shade.

[The Quiet.]

The shadow lord swore and melted into the ground just in time. A few felguards close by weren't so lucky. The plauge still raced for the castle, however: more and more of the ground and anything around it turned a sickening gray.

INSIDE BOWSER'S CASTLE

Next to where Bowser stood, overlooking the chaos reigning below, a bright flash of golden white light filled the koopa king's vision. When Bowser opened his eyes he saw the most beutiful thing that ever existed.

The first thing you noticed about her was her clothes. Her dress was blinding and white, yet you could still stare and not lose your vision. Her hair was long and golden, flowing in the wind that was not really there. The face upon this figure was so gorgeous that even I could not and can not place it into words, other than she had brilliant baby blue eyes. She looked at Bowser with such intensity that he was about to blush, but the eyes of the godess and their sharpness told Bowser that whatever she was doing here, it was serious.

"Quickly. Lead your forces into the portal that I create. We do not have much time." She spoke in a melodous voice, almost putting you to sleep but the awareness in it kept you from drifting off.

She muttered a few words, pointed to a corner of the room and a glowing, golden portal of light appeared, stabbing the dark room with brightness.

"Come. The plauge will be here soon." And with that, she flew over to the portal and disapeared inside it.

[Paper Luigi]

Uh oh., Bowser thought. If it's an enemy, it could be a trap. If it's not, it could lead me to freedom. If I make the wrong choice, I'll die. Great. "Kamek, drive thee cruiser into that portal!", he yelled. He made sure all of his surviving troops got in, along with the koopa cruiser, and he jumped in.

[The Quiet.]

Temple of Light

The Temple was set in a beutiful place, with an everlasting golden twilight and pure white clouds hovering all around the great castle. In fact, the temple was sitting on a cloud, but it did not fall through. It just floated there, peacefuly and quietly.

In the background a harp played as a great big portal opened up and gently lifted the koopa army onto the cloud. The koopa cruiser just flew into the realm and hovered above the cloud.

"Come, O mighty Koopa King Bowser." The figure spoke. "There is a task for you and the others I have gathered here."

She started to drift towards the temple doors, but turned around and said, "Leave your army and the flying machine here. The flying machine will not fit and I am afraid your legions of grand troops would taint my hall." The figure of light smiled, and gently, as if carried by a breeze, floated toward the grand towers and barracks of the Temple of Light. "Follow me, O Bowser," She said when he did not follow, "The others have been waiting for days."

[Paper Luigi]

"WHAT OTHERS?", Bowser demanded. "Who are you? Where are we?"

[The Quiet.]

"The first question shall be answered in a moment, inside the Hall of Heroes." The goddess explained as she moved. "As for the seccond, I am the Light. In some religions I am known as Artemis, and as for a formal name, I have never had one. I was created with all other things at the Start, including the Shadow Lord who which you were fighting with only moments ago."

"As for the third question, I have already mentioned that. You are at the Temple of Light, in the Realm of the Heroes. Many a town are here, and they are all filled with the holy servants, Angels. Now, enough questions until we enter the hall. I promise you know these good people. they are, in fact, from your dimension."

[Paper Luigi]

Bowser grunted and slammed the doors open, walking inside.

[The Quiet.]

"Bowser?"

Peach lept up from the long table she was sitting at, along with Luigi and Mario.

"Assembling the team, I guess. Must be something important." Luigi commented on the situation.

Artemis spoke. "Enough trivial talk, there is something important at hand. All of you, take your seats."

The angel flew to a grand looking seat at the end of the table, and began to speak.

"I will get to the point quickly. The one called Dimentio has taken control of the Underwhere, along with a few more locations such as the ruins of Mushroom Castle. The angels have told me that he found a pure heart there, and stole it away to somewhere secret. Dimentio poses a serious threat to your dimension and must be destroyed."

"However, you have another enemy in your midst. Shadow, King of the Blackness. He rules over all of the black in all dimensions and realms. He keeps his dark for obvious reasons, such as I keep mine bright. He or Dimentio have no way of getting into this realm, I assure you. The light of fallen heroes keep villans out. However, back to the point. All the lands around Bowsers castle have been corrupted by the Death Plauge, and these lands include Dry, Dry Desert, Yoshi Island along with the sea around it, Rocky Roads (the mountains that are the only way to and from Bowser's castle,) and Star Road has began to feel the taint, but it is pushing it back. Star road is a very pure place in your world, and as such I have posted angels as guards there."

"What is the point of this long speach you have given us?" Luigi asked impatiently.

"The point is," The Light responded in a perfectly normal tone of voice, "You have two enemies on two fronts, both of them very dangerous. Shade is importing more minions from Nethergard, a major city in his realm, and Hellfire Mountains, where Inferocks come from. Inferocks, in case you do not know, are enormous rock elementals that are held together by a green fire.

"On the other hand, you have Dimentio, who is hunting pure hearts throughout the land, causing more of his precious Chaos that he depends on." Artemis sighed. "In my opinion, Dimentio is the more dangerous foe, and should be dealt with quickly. My forces can deal with the Shadow Legion, but not for long. So you must be swift."

[Paper Luigi]

"GRAH HAH HAH!", Bowser laughed. "So we take out Dimentio, then this Shade guy. Bah. Big deal." "Bowser, they're both stronger than all of us combined. And if they joined forces, they could probably destroy the entire mushroom kingdom.", Peach said quietly. "Eh?", Luigi said. "Destroy the Mushroom Kingdom? That can't be good." Mario agreed silently. "We'll all have to work together. You too, Bows-", Peach started, but Bowser interupted. "Bah! Work together? Again? Once is enough!", "Please?", Peach asked. Bowser groaned. "Fine."

[The Quiet.]

"Hmm. Excellent. The four heroes are together once again, and hopefully seccond time's a charm." Artemis spoke mainly to herself as the heroes talked amongst themselves, devising a way to win the fight...
