"I though Fort Francis was rather near..." Mandew though to himself.

But Mandew realized that Fort Francis looked a little small, and that Fort Francis is big...

"... I said nothing."

Mandew followed his 'friends' toward a roadtrip to Fort Francis. Mandew didn't have anything to do... He just tryed to stay ready. He didn't know what could danger or whatnot could exist in The Bitland...

[Gold Prognosticus]

As they headed towards Fort Francis, Gold Prognosticus was thinking. How did they get here? Why were they their digibutter characters? What was going on?

During his thoughts they found that they had reached a massive lake...

"If I remember correctly," he thought to the others,"we simply have to cross this lake and we'll be at the big tree. I can hover across it but it's not like that will help you at all." vg looked at their slightly annoyed faces. "While you are all going across, I will stay over you as help. If there is another solution, I'll be glad to gear it."

Marc dug through his mind. A problem came to him: Mandew didn't know how to swim.

Mandew grabbed his power-up bag. There was surely something that could help him go accross.

Searching... he found a, Fire Flower, Rock Shroom, Monty Suit... and a Bunny Carrot.

A bunny carrot? He remembered his character running accross water. But that couldn't be a good idea...

Well, there was no real choice: Mandew will walk at the bottom of water. Marc remembered that Mandew could make a few jump boosts in water, which is really the only way Mandew can swim a little. And after all, they were in The Bitland: They couldn't run out of air, could they?

MsDevin frowned slightly. Well, she loved swimming, and it probably wouldn't be a problem, seeing as how her character was somehow capable of moving as if it had arms and legs, but...
Her memory of the underwater level in SPM caused her to shudder a bit.
"...Um...Isn't there a GIANT Blooper down there or something?" she squeaked. If there was one thing she couldn't stand in video games, it was underwater enemies. They always gave her the creeps.

[Frozenwinters]

I frowned, this lake would be a pinch. I glided over to the end of the water, and let my low, low body heat take it's toll on the water below.

Soon, I was almost; skating over the lake's surface, leaving a trail of medium-thickness ice. I looked over my shoulder, giving a wink, before continuing over to the other side.

MsDevin remained on shore, fidgeting and flapping about nervously.
"Oh...but..." she mumbled indecisively.
It was then that she sighted the trail of ice being formed across the water by Lady Gray.
"Huh? Hey, wait for me!" she cried, hastening after her across the ice.

[Gold Prognosticus]

Gold Prognosticus looked up, and saw a path of ice across the lake. Crag. With a sigh he kept on running ahead through the water, finding it had no effect on his speed.

After a few moments he came to a large area. There was a rumble and, slowly but surely, a giant blooper came out of the seabed.

BLOOP BLOOP?
(Again?)

Gold Prognosticus readied himself to fight the creature, he knew how to beat it...

Mandew didn't have much time to follow frozenwinters. He decided to try.

Mandew grabbed a bunny carrot. Suddenly, a question came to his mind.

How do I use this?

His question was answered instinctivly. The power of the carrot surged through his body. Mandew, a bit shocked, tried to eat it, and see if the result would be better.

The operation was successful. In a second, bunny hears grew on his head. He was in his bunny form...

"Hey guys! Wait for me!"

Mandew took 3 steps back, and started running forward... He managed to run on the thin ice remaining that was melting on the Tile Pool. He ran a bit faster than before, too. But not as fast as he imagined.

As Mandew was still far from catching up with Gold Prognosticus, the voice of the Blooper came to his ear. Was his earing more devlopped? He didn't ponder the question, and he had. All he knew is that there was no doubt on who it could be: The giant blooper in the Tile Pool.

Mandew is now pretty near to Gold Prognosticus...

vg knew he could do something more if the blooper's weak point was above the water. "Get his tentacles up here!" he yelled. Of course they couldn't hear him. vg shot at the water haphazardly. "I hope they can figure out a way soon."

[Frozenwinters]

I looked back again, and stopped in my tracks. My hair wrapped around my face for a short second, as the wind that I created, formed a whiplash. All I could see were three figures behind me, past that... It was almost impossible to see...

Bloop Bloop

What was that?

I thought to myself; but before I had time to react, a tentacle was shot from the rippling water into the air, sending me with it.

"Help!" I cried, as the the tentacle grabbed me in my air born phase, and began to recoil itself back into the depth of the blue.

vg saw frozenwinters getting sucked into the water. He quickly took a few shots which hit. They were too weak to do anything besides irritate him. "I need something more to damage him. If this is going to be another bonetail, we're going to be here for awhile." The blooper looked to vg and aimed his tentacles.

MsDevin screamed at the sight of the tentacle grabbing Lady Gray, and tried to turn back and flee to the shore, but it wasn't long until she was grabbed, too.

[Manjew]

Mandew arrived near the Blooper, and braked just before hitting it.

"HOLY CR-"

But before Mandew could say anything, he was sinking into the water.

"... *crag*"

So were his last word before sinking totally to the bottom of the Tile Pool.

Mandew had no choice.

He had to find the red tentacle and attack the weak point for MASSIVE damage.

In a matter of second, Mandew spotted the red tentacle. Marc remembered how Mandew had an hammer he could summon, like Mario does.

Marc tried to make it appear. Nothing happened. Marc focussed. Nothing happenned.

Just swing it at that tentacle already!

Mandew swung his arms at the tentacle, and to Marc's surprise, Mandew's hammer was in his hands! The hammer hit the red tentacle directly.

Mandew just cotinued to attack the red tentacle until the Blooper would react somehow...
