The Wii has had a phenomenal year. So many great games in 2007 that it makes it hard to choose a favorite!
Here are the nominees:
Super Paper Mario
Super Paper Mario's humorous story, accessible gameplay, inventive design, cool visual style, and impressive amount of content give it an undeniable charm.
Super Mario Galaxy
The combination of great level design, fantastic graphics, easy-to-learn controls, glorious soundtrack and just the overall wonderful presentation make Super Mario Galaxy a real winner.
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Radiant Dawn is one of the best strategy games you'll find on any console, with a crazily addictive strategic core.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
The stunning visuals and immersive gameplay of the finale to the Prime series proves that the Wii is ready for the mainstream gamer.
Guitar Hero III
The amazing soundtrack, superb wireless guitar, subtle tweaks, and excellent online multiplayer are exactly what fans have been wanting from the series
DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3
BT3 is a fast, fun, and amazingly deep experience for fans of the award-winning anime.

I'm the only one who voted Radiant Dawn. ;~; I guess it is sort of a for-the-fans type game. I probably would have voted SMG, but I haven't played it yet. It's probably somewhere in the pile under my tree, though, and if it's not I'll buy it with my Christmas money. |

Super Mario Galaxy. Definately.
It had awesome graphics, the golden oldie storyline with some new elements, an enormous variation in things, areas, and there were many new powers.
The music was delightful, and there is much replay worth. I call this game not only the best Wii game, but the best game of the year. |
