I'm just very liberal myself, and concerning the mindset of Huckabee, I don't want him as President. Besides, most of the world probably considers us hillbillies, and having a "President Huckabee" isn't going to help our case. |
thats Perfectly fine, your views, its the freedom of the country, I'm not trying to change your views, I'm just trying to state that No one person can change the government infrastructure that much to the point where our freedoms would come under fire at such a rate, our inalienable rights the country was based on.. hell Religious persecution is why the settlers left england, and if one church had political preference it would be the same thing all over again, or government it set up to prevent that.
quite frankly its why the system exists in the extent that it does.
what he means by change is he wants to repeal Roe Vs Wade. Ect. that comes down to Moral issues, Which vary generation to generation. Which due to the elastic clause in the constitution we are allowed a lot of flexibility with the laws
As I Said, Don't sweat it, he cant possibly get everything passed that he wants to get passed, or everything repealed that he wants to get repealed even if he some how made it into the White house.

...I am disappointed with Super Tuesday's republican results. Sure, it was pretty obvious that McCain was going to get the republican nomination, but I was hoping that Romney wouldn't have failed that badly... oh well. He had a good run, shame to see him go.
The democrat results were expectable. I thought Obama was going to beat out Clinton, but Clinton won over him. It's far from over, though. The results were close, and these two are going to be duking it out until the last minute. I'm hoping Obama wins, in the long run. |
