This thread is used for discussing the DragonBall Series that started it all - DragonBall! Now, I recently learned from Toonami Jetstream's website, http://video.toonamijetstream.com that DragonBall is coming to the site, and it tells of the adventures of Young Goku, and his friends, Bulma, Oolong, Yamcha, Puar, Master Roshi, and Krillin. Goku encounters enemies like Emperor Pilaf, the Red Ribbon Army, and even the King Piccolo! It is a great series, and pre-dating DBZ, it has Goku and a Red Ribbon Army guy entering the world of Dr. Slump! It's one of those shows that I wouldn't mind seeing on Jetstream, and I intend to see it. Hope you see it, too!

I remember that. Before all the "I am constipated! Let's fight!" crap in DBZ.

I remember this. It contained a lot of classic material, particularly the world tournaments, my favorite being Goku vs. Jackie Chun. (Master Roshi) ^_^ And let's not forget the Red Ribbon and Piccolo saga, either. Those were great, too. This also had a great sense of humor, and the fights were more lighthearted, and didn't seem to take themselves as seriously as in DBZ.

Tbh, I much prefer this over DBZ. DBZ is still good, but the fights often dragged, and a lot of the sagas were ridiculously long.

I actually liked the original, but I can't stand the new ones.

Well, that's really understandable. But it's really hard to find DVDs of the show (DragonBall Classic) in stores.
