Ah, the Denpamen community! I saw some of their drama online. I have no idea how I found out about the denpamen games but I played one very recently. I really disliked it. I'd enjoy it a lot more if you could rearrange party members. The hero was always at the front of my party and got killed all the time, it would've been way easier if I could've put one of my tanky fighters on the front lines. I feel like the magic classes were unbalanced too

oh shit!! online drama?? i didn't even know that was a thing loll im so curious how that went,, yeah honestly its a childhood favorite and back then my strategy was 'hit hard and grind enough to win.' i think a lot of it is unbalanced haha, take for instance the final boss in the first game and you just get nerfed but i think the later 2 kinda got better but its been awhile so i dunno you can sorta rearrange your team?? moving anyone but the hero by using the lil denpa men house. my strategy was to always space out all the antenna users so if they did a mini range attack all of them wouldn't die at once, though i think the only way to have specific people targeted was to wear this shirt called 'target' lol otherwise it was rng

Dang I didn't know that. I also should've got better at min-maxing my little dudes. The only DenpaMen game I played was the third and it felt excessively grindy. I remember any equipment was super expensive and there were few encounters that didn't give much reward. It was one of those games where you feel most motivated to run from fights. I feel like I wasn't getting the gameplay though. I like the little Grey denpaman with the beard and the spikey head. Cool dude. To be honest the art reminds me of Katamari a bit.

that yellow yoshi render really threw me off

I've never liked Yellow Yoshi. Something about it really irks me.

oh yeah late game they have these ultra expensive cracked items that i never bought. i think to this day TDM3 is the only game i have ever made a microtransaction purchase on (and i never even used the gems that i bought...). best quality of life change in that game was the enemies not attacking you once you're over a certain level for sure tho. i would always find items in the caves before i bought them in the shops so that part wasn't an issue for me either. i should like.. replay it bc i barely remember it now its the only og game in the series w/ microtransactions n was probably grindier to make people buy stuff. there's a lot more online features that they added and I scarcely used (and probably can't use anymore lmao i do not think many people play TDM3 nowadays). it is very similar to katamari!!
