Just a piece of art I did yesterday (12 hour job). This is Colossus at Thorpe Park, UK. This was the world’s first 10-inversion coaster. I particularly liked the overlap of one of four consecutive heartline rolls over the vertical loop behind it, and I wanted to make my photo a bit more colourful than the original’s grey sky and fading track colours, so I decided to make this piece. So yeah… more to come soon!

Round 2! This time we have Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park, UK. Being the sister attraction to Alton Towers’ iconic Nemesis is no easy task, but this B&M Inverted Coaster is more than it is given credit for, packing in more height and Gs into its volcanic setting than its alien-themed older sibling.

The 3rd entry into my Thorpe Art collection is SAW - The Ride! Themed to the Saw franchise, you are trapped in Jigsaw’s latest torture device: a Gerstlauer Eurofighter with a 100° drop! This held the world record for Steepest Drop for under a month before another UK rollercoaster, Mumbo Jumbo, took that title. It was the world’s first Horrror Movie coaster!

Hahahaha!!
This coaster with the highest drop In The UK was based on a horror franchise.
Until mumbo jumbo himself said “it’s surprisingly simple.”
And did it better…

Mumbo Jumbo is an extremely weird rollercoaster. It is something of a cross between a Wild Mouse and a Eurofighter.

Here is a video of some Brits riding this weird creation:

Secondly, MINECRAP

Entry #5 in my Thorpe Park art series: Stealth. The fastest accelerating rollercoaster in the world, launching from 0-80mph in 1.8 seconds up a 205ft tophat. It lasts around 12 seconds from launch to station but it is a real jolt of adrenaline.

Considering rebranding.

#6, the final piece in my Thorpe Park series, the Golden Goddess: Hyperia. Sitting at 236ft tall with a twisting vertical drop and 14.8 seconds of airtime, this record breaker solidified itself as a worldwide competitor for the UK.

This concludes my art collection.

My longest art project yet, this is The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal’s Islands Of Adventure. Opened in 1999, this B&M rollercoaster features a drive tyre launch and 7 inversions. This piece took over 15 hours, I think.
