Because there isn't a PC game conference to dissect at E3, coverage of the PC scene usually isn't the focus of the show. Most in the press are busy arguing about whether Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft pulled off the most impressive press conference and announced the best exclusives instead of what it necessarily means for the PC scene.
