DON'T BUY! THEY GOT RID OF ISG!

Replies:

So, there are still a lot of ways to break it probably
i mean they already found one definetely

That is an OLD trick. It isn't anything new. There won't be new glitches, nas. Also ISG was ninety percent of every non BA glitch so speedruns are going to suck on this version.

They had it in the demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H91FyE1w78
They must've gotten rid of it after that though, shit

DEKU STICKS HEAVILY NEFED. KING DODONGO CAN'T BE TWO CYCLED ANYMORE.

also they probably got rid of ISG BECAUSE of the leaked gameplay video with it. I guarantee that is the only reason why.

But I've never even played it.

How dare the developers fix game-breaking glitches. Who do they think they are, professional game designers?
Reply by ©na Jun 17 2011 03:25 GMT
Boreal, the term game breaking glitch is used to refer to shit that makes a game UNPLAYABLE. ie: EVERYTHING IN SONIC ADVENTURE or FALLOUT 3. ISG is not a game breaking glitch. It does not HARM the game in ANY way. In fact it has added so much replayability to the original Ocarina of Time that it is not even funny.

I don't understand how this ruins anything when you still have a version of the game with it.
Reply by Popple Jun 17 2011 04:09 GMT
This is an inferior version popple.
Reply by weedlord bonerhitler Jun 17 2011 04:23 GMT
Do you have a better term for a glitch that allows you to break portions of the game thus allowing you to bypass major sections of gameplay?
Reply by ©na Jun 17 2011 05:20 GMT
that's sequence breaking
Reply by darkz Jun 17 2011 05:21 GMT
Inferior how? The entire point of speed running is pushing the game to its limits. New limits have been imposed, adapt.
Reply by Popple Jun 17 2011 06:07 GMT
And sequence breaking involves the use of glitches. Glitches which were not meant to be in the game in the first place. There is no point in getting mad at Nintendo for trying to put out a quality product.
Reply by ©na Jun 17 2011 06:31 GMT
It doesn't negate the quality of the product to have glitches that don't damage the game. In fact the glitches add more playability to the game so they are making their game LESS playable.
Reply by weedlord bonerhitler Jun 17 2011 06:38 GMT
They aren't making it less playable, they're making it less exploitable.
Reply by Popple Jun 17 2011 07:51 GMT
I played through Ocarina of Time without ever noticing any glitches. The glitches and exploits didn't degrade the game at all and I agree with Flavio, they should've left the coding alone. They could've put more work into things like graphics or bonus content. You know, something that wouldn't have been a waste of time or made a portion of your customers disgruntled.

Is there any confirmation that they actually worked to remove it. It could just be a consequence of it being a remake rather than a straight port.
Reply by Popple Jun 17 2011 09:14 GMT
guys glitching is cool and all but you have to understand we are in 2011, gaming is much more advanced now and you can't expect games from 10 years ago to have the same glitches as the games now
arguement over

Popple I would have stopped playing OoT YEARS ago if there were no glitches. Several other people would have as well. They unintentionally provide a lot of gameplay, and making the game with less glitches removes that deeper level of playability. As for wether or not they removed it, well it was 100% confirmed to work in a demo earlier in the year so yes they removed it. The engine is ALMOST entirely the same with very few modifications, so many glitches have been removed and chances are there will be very few, if any, exclusive glitches to the 3DS version.

I don't understand how this ruins the game when you still have the same game.
OoT isn't gone.
