I'm pretty sure you can still do Jabu early as an adult in normal N64 OOT, though it's alot harder to pull off.

the litch is doing Jabu as Adult not doing Jabbu early. It was really easy in strawberry to do Jabu early. You can't do jabu early in 3DS version tho. And Adult Jabu was one of the hardest things to do in strawbery.
