Ever since Harmonix made it known that the Rock Band franchise be taking 2011 off (outside a the usual DLC pipeline), many have speculated as t' what the newly independent studio might be focusing it be developmental efforts on instead. Dance Central 2 be obviously one a those in-development projects, but word has swirled for a while now that Harmonix had some other, original ideas kicking around.

One a those appears t' be Vidrhythm, a name recently trademarked by the studio with/rock-band/62-567/ an "intent t' use" filing. What be Vidrhythm? I have no idea, but it be a thing that exists, according t' Harmonix Communications Director 'n noted rage enthusiast John Drake, who confirmed t' us that this be most definitely a project currently under development, 'n that "it will be awesome." So, hey, ye heard it here first.

Now feel free t' spend the next several hours constructing what the combination a Vid (one can presume it being short for "video) 'n rhythm both signify. I be personally hoping for something in the vein a Make me Video. Bring back Marky Mark!
