I like how they broke all the time theme consistent rules here, but I don't give a shit because they FINALLY gave the engineer something that isn't a *crag*ing wrench for once and thats a god damn miracle. The shotgun seems like it would be dandy for Engineers who are using normal sentries but don't pussy around them all the time, the shortcircuit is the biggest *crag* you to soldiers I've seen since forever, The Diamond is tempting though I'm more of a backstabber than a sentry sapper myself, even if they do reward you with crits.
Nothing look particularly overpowered here except maybe the short circuit, but only because it kicks Robin's spoiled child of a class down to reality.
I will say from experience that the Short Circuit really isn't as unbalanced as it sounds for two reasons. 1. It takes 35 metal a shot, even if you are standing near a dispenser that still builds up really quickly. It takes 140 metal just to stop a full clip from a standard Rocket Launcher, so defending a nest for any elongated period of time is pretty costly. It is, however, pretty great if you are on the move and just need to occasionally stop a projectile in combat. 2. It is VERY hard to judge the range on it. Right now it gives off no visible effect when you fire it out of range, literally nothing happens. The only time electricity shoots out is when a player or projectile is in range, so it is going to take a lot of time to get used to. Also yeah, that new shotgun is kind of shit. No reloading < 60 metal per shot.
How do you get these items anyway
i never even played the other ones
this might make me consider re-installing tf2
