Our friends at Kotaku say no, and I would have said the same thing earlier on in the game. The first bits of Pokemon Rumble Blast seemed like nothing more than hitting A over and over again. Indeed you'll do a lot of that while playing, but as the game moves on, so did my engagement level. I'll have my full review of the game tonight, but for now I'll say that this title offers more than you first think.
