What does Super Mario 3D Land take from Super Mario Bros. 2?

In other words...nothing really! Ah, if only Nintendo would embrace Super Mario Bros. 2 a bit more. They've shown some of the enemies a bit of love, but how about a return for Wart or digging through sand?
