When Nintendo's eShop first launched, the Big N billed it as the future of their online strategy. It was a new horizon for their downloadable software offerings, one that would prove once and for all that an old game company can, in fact, learn new tricks. It wasn't going to end up like WiiWare and DSiWare, straddling the line between respectable platform and barren wasteland. It was supposedly the real deal this time...
