BURBANK, Calif. – June 19, 2012 – Batman and his super hero friends are back to save the day! Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games today announced that the highly-anticipated LEGO® Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes is now available in North America for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Wii™ system, and Windows PC, as well as the Nintendo DS™ handheld system, Nintendo 3DS™ handheld system, and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system.
The acclaimed and award-winning LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is the must-have sequel to the best-selling LEGO® Batman™: The Videogame, which to date has sold more than 11 million units worldwide. In LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, kids and gamers of all ages team up with Batman and Robin and their favorite DC Comics super heroes like Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and The Flash in an original LEGO adventure. Many of the scenes and characters featured in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes can also be found in the LEGO® DC Universe Super Heroes toy collection, which was introduced earlier this year. The toy line includes five construction sets, such as The Batcave and three buildable, detailed action figures.

In LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, players take on the role of the Caped Crusader, Boy Wonder and other DC Comics super heroes as they unite to thwart the plans of nefarious evildoers Lex Luthor and The Joker in their diabolical quest to cause destruction and mayhem. Players are put in control of exciting new super abilities such as heat vision, freeze-breath and free-roaming flight, which they can use to explore a vast new Gotham City full of hidden secrets, collectible LEGO bricks and vehicles to drive and fly. The console games feature easy drop-in/drop-out co-op with dynamic split screen, giving family members of all ages a chance to take part in the action-packed LEGO adventure. The handheld games include a Justice League Alliance game mode, a set of battle challenges which pits the entire Justice League against the most evil villains in the DC Universe.
Developed by TT Games, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is available for Xbox 360 and PS3™ for the suggested retail price of $49.99, for Wii, PS®Vita, and Nintendo 3DS for the suggested retail price of $39.99, and for Nintendo DS and Windows PC for the suggested retail price of $29.99. The game is also scheduled to be available on the Mac in August 2012 for the suggested retail price of $29.99. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is rated “E10+” for Everyone 10 and older by the ESRB and complements the LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes toy collection.
