#breaking Today, Nintendo announced that thew new Smash Bros. for the Wii U and the 3DS will be developed by Namco Bandai Games. Masahiro Sakurai is helming the project. More »

the only thing that i have a problem with is that it's been a year since nintendo brought up the topic of a new smash bros and all they've revealed is who is making it

nas, they only brought it up a year ago since they needed to gather talent or whatever, which it looks like they did; it's just entering the first phase of development
Anyways, though, didn't you guys read the Direct comment? Namco has their best guys working on this, with talent from Tales, Tekken, and Soul Calibur. I've got high hopes.
