I'd rather not be stalked and sold like a raccoon. And who the *crag* uses TV anymore? I got this neat thing called a "General Purpose Computer", just invented it about, well, counting Babbage, hundreds of *crag*ing years ago so you should get one.
Some humans are social creatures and want to be entertained together, so they use a large display comfortably viewed at a distance with a casual user interface. To avoid having to constantly plug/unplug a single user's portable device into the display, there are typically dedicated user-agnostic devices connected to the TV such as the one above.
I can tell you two receive overwhelming amounts of joy from me being such a superior being that you feel you no longer have to care about your lives anymore.
