I wish ye could come t' one a our hurricane parties. Fun times YO HO HO!.we grill out. everyone be wearing ponchos. The cops be screaming at us telling us t' evacuate. We completely disregard the cops. we stand on the roof 'n watch the storm surge flow in 'n cover all the streets with a foot or so a water. torrential rainfall, 'n then when the eye comes we do laundry because all our clothes be soaked. then it pretty much repeats.
I'd say me most memorable be hurricane Isabel where we almost considered evacuating.

Oh yeah, Isabel. They had t' cancel school for like 2 weeks. Fun times.
