And Megaman fans can now produce a Megaman game more effectively than Capcom itself.

Looks neat, even if it is in the early stages.

It started out as a 2D 16 bit game but then they decided to scrap that and make it fully 3D

Doesn't seem like their half assing it either.

I'd play it, especially if his running animation is as cool as it looks in that screenshot

the running animation is in that video, movement works the same way as in Megaman legends, aim your guy by rotating then move forward or backwards, or press forward and left/right at the same time to move while rotating.

Eh, its below what I expected but it's acceptable

well it's two guys with a mac computer and a company that loves calling copy write infringements at the drop of a hat, they have to take things slow and careful.

tried out the demo and thought it felt pretty smooth, camera could use some work but other than that the movement feels fine and all and the hit detection for object to object is fine.

Wait, not, half-assed, indie game? Is that possible? We're not doing anything that could potentially rip the universe apart are we? Oh never mind it uses Unity. whew, I was worried there for a second.

wait do fan games even count as indie?

Yes, they're just using a concept already made, but otherwise it's a game made independently. Which you could argue is additional laziness.
