Nintendo said they have "nothing to announce right now", so I suppose it's a possibility, but I doubt it. I bet we are more likely to see more modified ports of GC games like the Play Control series. Anyways, you'd have to rebuy all your games, so hold on to that Gamecube/Wii.

you do realize gamecube games are considerably large files right? that'd take quite a bit to host and to download. hell you'd only be able to fit about 30 games on the deluxe wii U with the file size of some of those.

you do realize Claus that most of the Wii U games are available as digital downloads? (and yes, some do not fit at all on the white 8GB version)

well i won't be downloading any because as of right now (but not forever) wii U downloaded stuff is linked up to a system, not an account.
