I tried, but I couldn't wait until the End of Day thought to post this up. I've been watching Phil struggle with creating this latest Read Only Memory animation for months now. Reading his status updates, following his tweets. He put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this feature. While it may have been a rough road to pave, it was definitely worth it.

Out of all the fantastic works that Phil has brought us, this one is his finest yet. Of course, that's just my opinion. The quality of the animation, the little nods to the series it portrays and the musical flourishes really come together amazingly well. I'll let Phil chat up his feature a bit.

Hello! When I posted the previous episode of Read Only Memory I said that I'd try to get this latest short complete by the end of the year. Well I did everything in my power to make it happen, so we can now present to you Link's Triumph, the final part of Read Only Memory Vol. 2.

The goal with this short was that if you thought I ruined your childhood with Pizza Links, I'm here to redeem your childhood with Link's Triumph. Link's Triumph is based on the original Legend of Zelda game and takes place where Link fights the Aquamentis boss in the first dungeon. Being that this is Link's first real fight, I wanted to portray him as inexperienced, and maybe even a bit clumsy. I hope that it comes through and that you enjoy this short. I know it's barely a minute long, but I certainly put my all into this one. I really wanted ROM to go out on a high note.

That said, expect the compilation video, Read Only Memory Vol 2, in the near future.

Also, for those attending MAGFest (The Music & Games Festival in National Harbor, MD), I'll be hanging out at the Elder-Geek.com table doing sketches on Saturday January 5th. Be sure to stop by and say hello! You can also follow me on Twitter at Shamoozal and be sure to Like Shamoozal on Facebook. Thanks everyone.
