Coming from a CVG interview with the Animal Crossing: New Leaf dev team...

TOTAKA: Hello. My name is Totaka and I am joining you in London from NCL in Kyoto. I was the Sound Director for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Did you know the KK Slider character is based on me? I'd like to play something for you.

[Totaka plays the Animal Crossing theme on his guitar, then plays Totaka's Song]

Totaka's Song is also hidden in Animal Crossing: New Leaf somewhere. I hope you enjoy finding it when you play the game. Thank you for listening to my performance. Goodbye.

CVG: Finally, which character in the game is your favourite?

EGUCHI: There are animals who play special roles in the game. The one I like most is Isabelle, the secretary. She's really cute and she makes a lot of funny mistakes. She's really sweet and she greets you when you enter the office.

KYOGOKU: There are many characters I like so it's difficult to decide one. But if I had to, it'd be Leif, the sloth who works in the flower shop. He's slow and lazy but he's loveable.

EGUCHI: But he is hardworking! The Japanese word for "sloth" is "namakemono" which means "lazy person" but he's not lazy at all, because if there are a lot of weed sin your town then he helps you weed them. He's very kind.
