LOL the kickstarter isn't even to pay for game development its for :
"So, I am asking for a small amount of money in order to get a new laptop and to build a "hack van," a cargo van or shuttle van fitted with solar panels, extra batteries, and a bed and workstation inside. It is extremely sustainable, and turns out to be a pretty common practice in Silicon Valley! This way I can continue working on and releasing updates for my game for the foreseeable future, without having to worry about bills or a place to live."
lets get massive manbaby a 'hackvan' lol
you do realize that if it's used as a living wage/salary for the professionals working on the game then it's being used as funding for the game, right a huge chunk if not most of the millions of dollars spent on triple-a games goes to the salaries of the dozens if not hundreds of people working on said games
I'm with flavio, like I get dropping out of high school american education is more miss than hit, but being too lazy to take a *crag*ing GED test is the most bullshit thing, why would I give this man, with a proven record of insanity, my money
why is there only one $20 pledge-level? Who knows, he might have some crazy followers out there that would give him thousands for his trash or something.
uh crump what the hell are you talking about, there are no professionals working on the game unless he gets to the like million dollar mark. and no shit i know how money and salaries work
whether or not you think he's worth funding or if he's qualified to make this happen is a different matter altogether, the point is that if he's using the money to support himself while working on the game then it's being used to fund the game
personally, I could care less if he has the skills to make a game or if he doesn't; I'm funding it just because the story behind it is so damn entertaining and it needs to be kept going
