Metacritic names Wii, DS the worst platforms of the year

Well, the numbers certainly don’t lie…as far as review scores go. The Wii and DS take the 5th and 6th spots as far as overall game quality is concerned. Funny how these platforms have the worst games according to reviews, but have the best sales!

DS has good games AND casual games. Just because it has a lot of bad games doesn't mean it doesn't have some really good games.
You can also see from this that the PS3 has almost no games, but the games it does have are very good.

Why the hate against casual gaming? Seriously, the only sense to the argument is it's somewhat difficult to find the hardcore stuff.

I don't think anyone has a problem with casual gaming, Spiny. The problem is there are way too many bad casual games on the Wii.

Indeed; the Sims is a GOOD casual game. Spore, depending on how disappointed you were with it, is also a GOOD casual game.
The vast majority of shit on the Wii consists of BAD casual games, however.
